I've bought my wedding dress!!!

Oh you guys!!  It's so beautiful and unbelivably regal!  That's the only word that I can think of to describe it: "regal".  Wow.  It stinks that I can't post pictures up here of it, but Darin might see them....and we can't have that now, can we?  :) 

On Thursday, we're going to talk to the DJ about the ceremony music and the light show.  The light shows that these people have are CRAZY!!  It looks just like a nightclub.  They have a 10 foot screen that they'll be bringing too so that they can play music videos.  It's awesome.  We have a meeting with my former pageant director, Carla, next Tuesday.  I really want her to get pictures of Darin when he first sees me walking down the aisle.  I can't wait to see his face!  You guys really have no idea how excited I am!!  I can't wait to get married.  YEA!!

We're Engaged!!

        Darin and I are planning our wedding for Fall 2007.  In the next few weeks, we're going to be stopping in at Kemper Center to reserve a day.    I'm so excited to be getting married!  The date of our wedding has changed so much since we got engaged!  lol.  We got engaged in January 2006, Darin and I wanted to get married Fall 2006, but there just wasn't enough planning time or money. :(  So we moved it to Spring 2007.  But the more we talked about it....fall reminds me of Darin and of falling in love with him.  He feels the same way.  He says that fall and the changing leaves always remind him of when we started dating.  Seeing changing leaves and knowing that I'm spending forever with the man I love always brings back those feelings of first being head over heels for him.  I love that feeling.  For us, there's really no other time of year to get married.  I wish that we could have gotten married earlier, but this plan works out well for us.  I'll just about be done with nursing school.  It gives us plenty of time to plan.  Tons more money will be available.  And it saves us from going crazy trying to plan everything in just a few months.  Even still, I can't wait to start planning everything.  :)  I'm a big music girl, so I want to make sure that the wedding music is perfect.  I've just about finished up with all of that....now we're working out who's going to do what etc.  We've got a lot of cute ideas to make our day the best ever.    I love trying to pick out all the cute love songs that will be our first dance! 

Ooo!  I wanted to change my hair color....ya know, just for something different.  Of course, I went blonde to have an excuse in life. It took me a while to get used to it, but it was fun.  Round about last night, I couldn't do it anymore!    I was out of my blonde stage after about a month and 1/2.  I had to go back to brown!  Now my brown is back and I LOOVE it!!  I'll never dye my hair again!  I love my brown hair!
